Try the Track 2025

Our Try the Track sessions are a great way for riders of all ages to give track cycling a go for the first time before the start of the racing season.  And best of all, Try the Track is free!

This year we're holding three sessions - Sunday 14 and 21 September, between 10.00am and midday, and

Wednesday 17 September, between 3.30-5.00pm  - come along to one ... or all of them!

Try the Track is a fantastic way to get a taste of what track cycling is about - just bring your own mountain or road bike,

helmet and gloves.  We'll have plenty of Committee and Club members available at these sessions to answer any questions you might have about track cycling, our Club, or our successful Development Programme.

Our Development Programme follows Try the Track, and is held over four Sundays across October/November.  For more information, drop us a line on secretary@canterburytrack.co.nz, or catch up with us at the Try the Track sessions.

No pre-registration required for Try the Track, just roll up on the day.

Please note that, for health and safety reasons, we recommend Try the Track from intermediate school age, upwards.

What do I need to give 'Try the Track' a go?

All you need is your own bike, a helmet and gloves if you have them.  For more information contact secretary@canterburytrack.co.nz
