CTC's 2026 Summer Carnival of Racing is happening on Saturday 10 January, proudly brought to you by Orange Homes. 


The event also incorporates the Ideation 2026 South Island Championships.


Don't miss the opportunity to watch your favourite riders in action at Denton Oval including current, past and future champions.  This is a day not to miss! Grades from U13 right through to Masters will be on show for a spectacle of fast and furious track cycling.


With prize money and race trophies up for grabs on the day, why would you want to be anywhere else?!


Entries close 3 January.  No entries will be taken on the day.


Gates for riders: Open at 11.30am (entry at rear gate)

Gates for spectators: Open at 12.30pm (entry at front gate)

Racing commences: 1.00pm sharp


Entry fees - riders

U13/U15/U17: $30.00

U19 and above: $50.00


Entry fees - spectators

16 years of age and above: $10.00

15 years of age and younger: Free


Payment options

  • Bank transfer: ASB 12-3147-0354579-00. Please use your Surname and Carnival as References.
  • Eftpos at sign-in desk on the day.


Housekeeping

  • Spectator tickets and programmes available for purchase at the gates.
  • Licensed bar open during the event and food available for purchase.

2025-2026 Race Season

We're rolling from 2 November 2025 CTC's season kicks off on Sunday 2 November. Our first race session will consist of x4 races rather than the usual 5. PLUS - for 2 November only - ZERO race fees! Note: We are no longer accepting cash payments for Club registration or race session fees to make things easier and more secure for everyone. Cash payments are still welcome at the Club shop. Volunteering - we need you! To make our race sessions run smoothly we need help from our amazing community. Sign up here to volunteer over the season, or chat to the crew at the registration desk.
